This motto is inspired by the original Royal Air Force Motto, per ardua ad astra.  Although the Latin is imperfect, the RAF's motto conveys the idea that by hard work, one can reach the stars.  We have updated that phrase.  Our goal, to reach skyward with better ideas.  In the words of Robert Browning, "a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for?"
